We are emotionally overwhelmed and spiritually depleted because we haven't learned the power of prayer. The lack of it has left us weak and anxious. We blindly make decisions without taking time to talk it over with God. You can do great things after you've prayed, but you can do nothing of eternal value until you've prayed.
God Promises to intervene on behalf of the person who prays in His will.
(1 John 5:14-15)
As important as our "Trophies" are; one day they will not mean anything to us, or to anyone else.
There will come a day when we will depart from this life!
WHAT THEN?
Our "Trophies" will be given away, thrown away or sold at a garage sale.
Don't waste your life in the pursuit of something that in the end, really doesn't matter!
Jesus said in Matthew 6:19-21 (NIV):
19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
